Job Summary
Second Grade Teacher to deliver standards-based instruction aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence, use data to inform instructional decisions, and support the development of foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills. Collaborates with grade-level teams, instructional coaches, and families to ensure student success; differentiates instruction for diverse learners; integrates instructional technology to enhance learning; maintains accurate records; communicates progress with parents; and upholds professional standards and district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree or higher
- Valid Georgia Teacher certification or Charter Waiver eligible
- Demonstrated knowledge of early elementary instructional practices
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate
