Job Summary
Deliver high-quality instruction to elementary students in a classroom setting, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic growth. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, assessing student progress with rigorous measurements, collaborating with parents and staff, adhering to district policies and approved curricula, planning lessons for diverse learners (IEP/504 accommodations), supervising students during transitions and activities, and supporting school programs and extracurricular activities. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a valid Arkansas teaching license; 190-day contract with a 7 hours 40 minutes daily schedule and occasional after-school events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education
- Valid Arkansas teaching license for the assigned grade level/subject
- Pre-employment background checks
- Ability to plan and implement instruction aligned with standards
- Experience with or ability to develop individualized education plans (IEP) and 504 plans
- Strong classroom-management and communication skills
