Develop course syllabi and lesson plans to guide students toward academic potential. Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning while collaborating with the department to align experiences to state standards. Establish clear objectives, prepare classrooms, and provide diverse learning resources to meet varying student needs. Instruct and monitor students using relevant technology, then observe, evaluate, and assign work to provide appropriate feedback. Maintain accurate records of progress, prepare required reports, and manage discipline by enforcing rules and applying measures where necessary. Establish positive relationships through counseling and encourage participation in extracurricular activities, department meetings, and parent communications.
