Job Summary
Plan and provide specialized, standards-based music instruction for elementary students aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and the district's mission. Focus on fostering intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development; employ differentiated instruction and varied strategies; implement formative and summative assessments; maintain an organized, safe classroom; manage equipment and student performances; collaborate with Professional Learning Communities and families while upholding licensure requirements and district conduct standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Ohio Teaching License/Certificate for the specific subject area and/or grade level (e.g., Multi-Age P-12 in Art, Music, PE, or Health)
- Ability to pass Federal (FBI) and State (BCI) background checks
