Job Summary
Elementary Specials Teacher (Music) plans and provides specialized, standards-based music learning experiences aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and the district mission. Responsibilities include instructional design and alignment (OTES 2.0), differentiated instruction and assessment (IEP/504/EL), classroom environment management, specialized program oversight (instruments and related equipment), organizing student showcases and performances, and professional collaboration with families and PLCs. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and an Ohio teaching license for the subject area/grade level, plus background checks. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and experience with differentiated instruction, UDL, and educational technology integration. 184-day contract; exempt status; reporting to Building Principal; located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Ohio Teaching License/Certificate for the specific subject area and/or grade level
- Ability to pass Federal (FBI) and State (BCI) background checks
