Job Summary
Elementary Special Education Team Chair leads and coordinates special education services within a K–12 district, overseeing IEP development, compliance with IDEA, and collaboration among teachers, service providers, and families. Responsibilities include chairing IEP team meetings, maintaining IEP caseloads, coordinating services, managing scheduling, and guiding ESY planning, while upholding ethical conduct and district policies; requires DESE Special Education licensure, SEI endorsement, a Master’s degree, and prior experience in SPED.
