Job Summary
Plan, provide, and document instruction for students with disabilities consistent with NYS standards and regulations. Write, interpret, and administer Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while completing assessments and reporting as appropriate. Collaborate with co-professionals and communicate effectively with students and parents to support learning outcomes. This role requires valid NYS Teacher Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) and Students with Disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS Teacher Certification
- Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)
- Students with Disabilities (B-2), (1-6), (7-12), or All Grades
- Enthusiastic and Passionate about Working with all Students
- Ability to work Collaboratively with Co-Professionals
- Ability to Communicate Effectively with students and parents
- Competent in Completing Assessments and Reporting as Appropriate
- Able to Write, Interpret and Administer IEP's
- Plan for, Provide, and Document Instruction for SWDs
- Understand NYS mandates for Individual Education Plans
- Provide Instruction for SWDs Consistent with NYS Standards and NYS Regulations
