Elementary Special Education Teacher (Burr Ridge, IL) for the 2026-2027 School Year

Special Education Teacher responsible for developing and implementing instructional strategies based on students' IEPs, planning and carrying out group and individual academic lessons, providing instruction for students with a wide range of disabilities in settings including extended resource, small group resource, and push-in models, promoting collaboration with fellow teachers, maintaining ongoing anecdotal records of academic and behavioral progress, coordinating with parents, LADSE, and district staff, and participating in re-evaluations, annual reviews, and progress review meetings. Responsibilities also include completing academic assessments at the beginning and end of the school year, supervising classroom instructional aides, and ensuring safety and confidentiality while utilizing technology to support performance responsibilities.
