Job Summary
Elementary Spanish Specialist to provide Spanish instruction for 6–12-year-olds in a Montessori environment, delivering the established elementary Spanish scope and sequence, adhering to AMS guidelines, and supporting the Elementary After School Care program. Role involves collaboration with administration and colleagues, maintaining student records and communication with families, ongoing professional development, and participation in school events (including some evening hours) to foster language learning and cultural understanding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Spanish, Education, or a related field)
- Minimum three years of teaching experience in Spanish or world language instruction at the elementary level (ages 6–12)
- Montessori credential not required, but preferred
