Job Summary
Assist with practices by placing emphasis on teamwork, skill development, learning rules and strategies, and student-athlete improvement. Supervise student-athletes before, during, and after practices and contests, including in locker rooms, on busses, and at all other times, ensuring the assistant coach remains present until all students have left. Manage constant care of equipment and inventory, follow through on required paperwork including rosters, physicals, and insurance forms, and provide information for transportation, facilities, and game management. Conduct teams in an ethical manner during practices and contests, always exemplifying the highest standards of sportsmanship. Promote student athlete's accomplishments academically and athletically while continuing professional growth through clinics and publications. This seasonal role requires a full or part-time employee with a valid teacher certificate, reporting to the Board of Education to collaborate with passionate colleagues.
