Job Summary
As an Elementary School Teacher, you will lead a class of students in grades K-4, planning a curriculum that meets school standards, and implementing engaging lessons to develop students’ critical thinking. You will prepare learning materials, assign homework, take attendance, grade assignments and provide feedback, and document students’ learning progress. You will collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to maintain a healthy, safe learning environment and report behavioral incidents, while maintaining strong communication with students, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
