Job Summary
Elementary School Teacher - 4th Grade in Henderson, NC responsible for planning, organizing and presenting instruction and instructional environments that support students’ educational and social development. Manages instructional time, behavior, and presentation of lessons; monitors student performance and provides feedback; facilitates instruction and uses available resources to align objectives with learning goals. Supervises teacher assistants and adheres to applicable laws, policies, rules, and regulations. Requires a degree in education and licensure for teaching by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction; strong classroom management and ability to engage students in a dynamic classroom.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
