Job Summary
Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons across multiple disciplines, creating a classroom environment conducive to learning. Develop and implement lesson plans, guide student learning toward curriculum goals, assess progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with parents. Supervise teaching assistants and volunteers, participate in staff meetings and professional development, coordinate with special programs, and ensure classroom safety and orderly operations. Requires a valid South Carolina teaching certificate or eligibility in the appropriate certified area; experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
