Job Summary
Supervisor leading teaching and learning at College Achieve Paterson Charter School; oversees staff, collaborates with Principal and Administrative Team, models PLCs and Coaching Cycles, provides co-teaching support and feedback on lesson plans, data-driven planning, and professional development to address student learning and diverse needs; supervises 4-8 staff, partners with cross-content teams, and champions reflective practice, equity, and family/community engagement to advance school goals.
Required Qualifications
- Successful teaching experience in a multicultural diverse setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated philosophy that all students can and will learn at the highest level.
- Demonstrated record of success which exemplifies instructional leadership, standards of academic excellence and personal/moral integrity.
- Knowledge of current best practices impacting upper elementary and middle school scholars.
- Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with scholars, staff, parents, administration and the community.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment including appropriate handling of all confidential matters with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to diverse stakeholders.
