Elementary School Social Worker

Job Summary
Direct and indirect services to students, families, and school personnel to promote academic, social, emotional, and behavioral successes. Conducts systematic assessments, designs and implements interventions to remove barriers to learning, leads FBA and BIP processes, participates in MTSS and suicide/threat assessment teams, engages parents and school staff, and maintains confidential records. Applies evidence-informed practices, monitors progress, and supports school-wide programs to promote student well-being and positive outcomes. Requires active Michigan School Social Work License and a Master's degree; open August 2026 with in-person attendance at Lakeville Elementary within Oxford Community Schools.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Michigan School Social Work License
- Minimum of Master's Degree
- Maintain or eligible for MDE approval for School Social Worker or ability to work under temporary approval
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
