Job Summary
Oversee daily school operations, including academic programs, staff supervision, and student support services. Select and assign staff while supporting professional growth and building leadership capacity. Collect and analyze data to drive continuous improvement in student achievement and manage school operations effectively. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment by implementing data-driven strategies to enhance instructional practices. Lead professional development initiatives, address student discipline, and promote family and community engagement. Develop and execute the school's strategic plan aligned with district goals while supervising building records and enforcing administrative regulations. Collaborate with district directors on planning and resolutions, ensuring fidelity to district curriculum programs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Meet school administration and state requirements of Michigan City Area Schools and the State of Indiana
- Commitment to working in an economically and racially diverse community
