Job Summary
Elementary School Counselor role at Jamesville Elementary School: provide a comprehensive school counseling program addressing academic, career, and personal/social development; promote student success; implement preventive services; collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and community resources; maintain records and use data to guide program delivery; deliver direct counseling services through the Guidance Curriculum, Individual Student Planning, and Preventive/Responsive Services; ensure alignment with the NC Guidance Standard Course of Study and school policies; 10-month, exempt position reporting to the Principal with supervision from the Student Services Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Level School Counselor License
- Provisional license eligibility if: (a) Masters degree in Agency Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, Community Counseling, or Rehabilitation Counseling from regionally accredited college or university, OR (b) completion of a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in a school counselor program.
