Job Summary
Deliver a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate school counseling program supporting the academic, life skills, wellness, and college/career needs of all students at Robert C Elementary. Provide direct guidance to diverse student groups while maintaining effective interpersonal and written communication standards. Adhere to a 206-day work calendar and Florida Department of Education certification requirements. This role contributes to Broward County Schools' mission of holistic student development within the Pompano Beach district.
Required Qualifications
- An earned master's degree from an accredited institution in School Counseling, Counselor Education, or a related field
- Valid Florida Department of Education Certification in School Counseling
- Ability to work with diverse groups
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Computer skills as required for the position
