Job Summary
Provides instructional leadership and professional development to all staff members. Fosters and develops a positive school culture and effective learning environment. Engages parents and community members in supporting a positive, welcoming school environment, supportive of all students. Maintains student safety and handles special cases as necessary. Evaluates certificated and classified staff members. Participates on committees pertinent to the operation of the district. Conducts employee investigations as appropriate. Maintains appropriate school resources such as budget and staffing.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Educational Administration
- Five (5) years of classroom teaching experience
- Valid state administrator certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Educational Administration
- Five (5) years of experience as a classroom teacher
- Experience as an Assistant Principal or Principal preferred
- Valid state certificate to practice as a school administrator
