Job Summary
Lead spiritual and instructional direction of the Elementary School in New Albany, IN as the Christian Academy Elementary School Principal. Responsibilities include mentoring first-year teachers, directing day-to-day operations, curriculum oversight and textbook adoptions, developing both short- and long-term goals for faculty and staff, interpreting and using educational data to drive improvements, fostering professional development, coordinating events and communications with families and the PTO, and serving as liaison between the school, parents, and board while upholding the Christian mission.
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in School Administration and Leadership
- Eligibility for ACSI certification
- A strong, clear Christian testimony
- Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs align with the School System
- Agreement that the Bible is the final authority
- Experience leading spiritual and instructional programs, data interpretation, curriculum development, and staff mentorship
- Ability to hire, supervise, and evaluate staff; develop schedules; engage with parents and the PTO
- Proven leadership and communication skills for faculty, staff, and families
