Job Summary
Elementary Principal at Chester Community Charter School (Chester, PA) responsible for the academic success of the school, leading teaching, curriculum, discipline and building security; provides daily supervision of instructional staff, engages with parents and the community, and collaborates with administrators to ensure smooth school operations. Oversees curriculum implementation, standardized testing logistics, supervision and evaluation of teachers, budget and procurement, data analysis to identify struggling students and curriculum gaps, coordination with transportation personnel, and development of professional development opportunities. Requires a Master’s in Educational Administration, PA Administrative II Principal PK-12 certificate, 3-5 years classroom experience, and 2+ years supervisory experience; compliance with PA laws and involvement with governance bodies (e.g., PTO) is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Masters' Degree in Educational Administration or related field from an accredited college or university
- 3-5 years of demonstrated classroom experience
- 2 plus years demonstrated success supervising or leading a team of educators
- Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check Clearance
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Criminal Background Clearance
- Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Administrative II Certificate in School Administration Principal PK-12
