Job Summary
Elementary Pickleball Program Coach needed for After School & Summer Camp; part-time, in-person coaching for elementary students (Grades K-5) across Bay Area sites. Responsibilities include teaching beginner-friendly pickleball/tennis sessions, managing class size (8-16 students), attending a training/shadowing session, taking attendance, interacting with parents and school staff, and capturing class photos. Programs run September–June (After School) and June–August (Summer Camp); pay ranges $50–$65 per session (After School) and $18–$24 per hour (Summer Camp), with various scheduling options including half-day and full-day sessions; must be eligible to work in the U.S., score vaccination and background checks, and provide required biographical/photo information. Multiple school sites across the Bay Area; in-person, local candidates preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Teaching or playing experience in Pickleball is preferred but not mandatory
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
- Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Good communication and class management skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
- Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on website
- Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
