Job Summary
Develop and deliver elementary physical education instruction aligned with district curriculum; create engaging lesson plans, assess student learning, differentiate instruction for diverse learners, manage classroom behavior, communicate with parents, administer standardized tests when required, maintain student records, supervise activities outside the classroom, and collaborate with grade-level colleagues and administrators to support student growth in physical education and overall education goals.
Required Qualifications
- Certification/License: NJ State Certification as an Elementary Teacher
- NJ State Certification in the appropriate grade level preferred
- Education: Bachelor's from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment
- Experience: Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels a plus
