Job Summary
Teach Uncommon Schools’ Performing Arts musical theatre curriculum, implement curricula, and collaboratively develop program content; produce school productions annually (e.g., Community Circle, Latinx & Hispanic Show, Black History Show, Spring Musical, Moving Up Ceremony); oversee production elements (costumes, sets, props, lights, sound) and supervise school events; manage the Community Circle and daily school activities; participate in department and faculty meetings and an August orientation; craft original performance content with the PA team; bachelor’s degree required with GPA 3.0+; NJ Certification helpful but not required; compensation between $60,000 and $85,000 with comprehensive benefits; in-person teaching locations in Boston, Newark, Camden, New York City, and Rochester.
