Job Summary
Elementary Music Teacher responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans for in-person, distance, and virtual learning aligned with the district curriculum; tailor instruction to diverse student needs; assess student learning styles and adjust activities; collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs; manage classroom environment and behavior; assist in selecting instructional materials; supervise extracurricular activities; maintain regular communication with parents and district personnel; participate in staff development and comply with regulations and policies; remote learning option acknowledged.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Experience: Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience

- AED and CPR certification for Physical Education Teachers (where applicable)
