Job Summary
Elementary Music Education Teacher dedicated to delivering district-approved instruction and fostering student growth. Responsibilities include teaching the district curriculum daily, using content knowledge to support individual student progress, developing lesson plans and instructional materials, collaborating on curriculum development, implementing the school/district Model of Instruction and MTSS, conducting content-specific assessments, participating in Professional Learning Communities, and maintaining accurate records. Must engage in ongoing professional development (including RISE training) and meet Science of Reading proficiency/awareness requirements, while demonstrating professionalism, ethical behavior, confidentiality, and effective communication. The role emphasizes creating an inviting classroom environment, establishing clear objectives, and contributing to district-wide initiatives and SEL programs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arkansas Teaching License for music education or willingness to finish alternate route to appropriate licensure
