Job Summary
Model Heartwood's core values and whole-child philosophy to inspire students and colleagues. Foster academic excellence and character development by creating a positive, structured classroom environment for kindergarten through 3rd graders. Support students with direct, small-group, and differentiated instruction tailored to diverse learning needs. Assess student learning regularly and adapt instruction to meet individual needs, embracing mistakes as valuable learning opportunities. Build a strong, inclusive classroom community by forming meaningful relationships with students and families. Commit to continuous professional growth through reflection, feedback, and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must currently possess a South Carolina teaching certification or commit to becoming certified in the state of South Carolina by August 1, 2025
