Job Summary
Elementary (K-5) Classroom Teacher responsible for implementing district-approved curriculum, documenting student progress and outcomes, addressing individual educational needs, and creating a safe, flexible learning environment. Role involves providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding progress, expectations, and goals, with ongoing collaboration to support student success and growth. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 18 semester hours of relevant coursework, a 2.7 GPA, and the ability to provide an official transcript; alternative pathways include Emergency License and Residency License options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
- 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
- Ability to produce an official, degree-dated transcript from an accredited university
- Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible
