Job Summary
Coordinate push-in and pull-out support using the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to facilitate student learning and implement research-based interventions for Tier 3 students. Utilize performance, survey, and observation data to identify student needs, develop classroom-based interventions, and document progress while facilitating Student Support Team meetings with principals, parents, and staff. Design and track Tier 3 support systems, gather universal assessment tools, and facilitate data-driven conferences to inform instruction during Professional Learning Community meetings. Administer standardized testing data, assist with IDEA and Section 504 activities, and produce required federal, state, and district reports ensuring compliance with legislative mandates.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certification in the required subject matter and grade band
- A minimum of 5 years fulltime successful teaching experience in the required subject matter and grade band
- Travel and attendance at in-person events, including State Testing is required throughout the school year, as determined by the school. This may require overnight travel
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support families
