Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher; assist in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities; help instruct reading, writing, and mathematics; supervise students in various settings (lunchroom, bus, playground); assist with administration and scoring of objective tests and materials; maintain classroom organization and records; participate in staff development and faculty activities; position located in Lufkin, TX, nonexempt, requires an associate degree or equivalent and a Texas educational aide certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree/two years of study at an institution of higher learning OR met No Child Left Behind Act requirements
- Must have a Valid Texas educational aide certificate
