Job Summary
Elementary Generalist responsible for providing students with learning activities and experiences in core academic subjects, developing and implementing lesson plans aligned to district curricula, assessing student learning, collaborating with inclusion and special education staff, using technology to support learning, managing classroom behavior, and communicating with parents; requires TX teaching certification with endorsements and demonstrated competency in the core subject, plus student teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- At least one year student teaching or approved internship
