Elementary English Teacher - 2nd Grade

As an Elementary English Teacher for 2nd Grade at Global Village Academy, you will develop, plan, and implement curriculum and instructional programs for young learners in a language-immersion setting, create engaging lesson plans, and use effective teaching methods to promote critical thinking and achievement. You will maintain records of student progress and attendance, conduct formal and informal assessments, differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learners, collaborate with families and colleagues, and participate in evening meetings or events as needed to support student success. The role requires strong oral and written communication, classroom management, differentiation strategies, and a commitment to fostering a multilingual, culturally diverse learning environment. A BA/BS and a Colorado teaching license are preferred, with relocation not provided.
