Job Summary
Elementary Classroom Teacher for 4th Grade responsible for meeting and instructing assigned classes, planning lessons aligned to district curriculum goals, creating a conducive learning environment, guiding student learning, assessing progress, maintaining records, communicating with parents, supervising paraprofessionals, and participating in district meetings and professional growth opportunities. Requires appropriate Elementary license from MA DESE and a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred/expected within 5 years).
Required Qualifications
- Highly qualified with required competency in the content area
- Appropriate content/ program area educator license (Elementary) and grade level (1-6) licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate license; or
- Master’s Degree with appropriate content area license preferred and/or expected within 5 years
