Elementary Building Teacher – Long Term Substitute

Teach appropriate grade-level content from Junior Kindergarten through 6th Grade, guiding students to develop academic potential. Establish cooperative relationships with staff and parents while delivering instruction aligned with state and district standards. Assess student proficiency, adapt instruction accordingly, and provide one-on-one and small group support as needed. Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that fosters respect among all students. Collaborate with special education staff for individualized education programs and administer assessments to track progress. Adhere to FERPA regulations, maintain accurate records, and attend staff meetings to improve instructional strategies.
