Elementary Building Teacher – Long Term Substitute

Teach appropriate grade-level content from Junior Kindergarten through 6th Grade while guiding students to fulfill their academic potential. Establish cooperative relationships with staff and parents, communicate effectively, and use technology to support instruction aligned with state and district standards. Assess student proficiency levels, adapt instruction accordingly, and administer assessments to track progress over time. Create a welcoming, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that fosters respect among students of all backgrounds. Provide one-on-one and small group support, collaborate with special education staff for IEP accommodations, and maintain accurate performance records. Adhere to FERPA regulations and ensure consistent, reliable attendance.
