Job Summary
Support teaching staff by delivering hands-on interactions with children to foster play, reinforcement, and academic success. Intervene promptly when behavioral concerns arise and implement specified teaching techniques and behavioral intervention procedures. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and a fun environment while completing data collection paperwork and time logs. Communicate effectively with staff and students throughout the day. Follow individual schedules in classrooms and attend team meetings as necessary. Maintain confidentiality and professional work behavior while adhering to physical demands involving standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 college credit hours

- Sufficient vision to read printed material
- Sufficient vision to see distant objects with clarity
- Sufficient vision to identify and distinguish objects

- Sufficient hearing to hear sounds clearly up to 30 feet
- Ability to speak in an understandable voice
- Ability to speak with sufficient volume to be heard in normal conversation
- Ability to speak with sufficient volume to be heard on the telephone
- Ability to speak with sufficient volume to be heard in addressing groups
- Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Sufficient manual dexterity and/or mobility to grasp and/or manipulate objects
- Sufficient manual dexterity and/or mobility to operate mechanical equipment
- Sufficient manual dexterity and/or mobility to move about the work area
