Job Summary
Assistant Site Coordinator role combines direct student interaction with leadership and administrative duties: assist the Site Coordinator as second point of contact for parents and administrators, oversee student safety during after-school activities, enforce rules to promote positive behavior, coordinate and lead indoor/outdoor enrichment activities, participate in trainings and meetings, manage attendance and sign-ups, and create clubs (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance). Requires 2+ years in after-school programs or youth recreation, ability to communicate with kids and parents, 48+ college credits or proficiency exam, TB test and Live Scan background, bilingual English-Spanish preferred, and vaccination documentation if required by the school. Part-time, non-exempt, with a schedule Monday to Friday including morning and afternoon shifts; reliable commute required; Arc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in after-school programs or youth recreation
- Ability to communicate with kids and parents
- College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units OR ability to pass academic proficiency exam
- TB test with negative result
- Live Scan background check
- Covid-19 vaccination documentation if required by school
