Elementary Art Teacher

Teach foundational art techniques and media (drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, digital art) to elementary and middle school students. Develop standards-based, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with the Wisconsin Standards for Art & Design; differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners; assess student progress using formative and summative assessments; deliver engaging, grade-appropriate instruction; integrate art history and multicultural traditions; plan and deliver curricula and instructional materials; collaborate with students, families, and staff to support student success; create a positive, inclusive classroom culture; manage art projects and classroom environments; use effective questioning, feedback, and instructional strategies to foster creativity, critical thinking, and student voice; participate in professional development and collaboration with colleagues to support student achievement and growth.
