Job Summary
Provide instruction for the elementary core subject area to support students' academic, emotional, and social growth. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, differentiate for diverse learners, assess student achievement, collaborate with special education staff on IEPs, communicate with parents, and lead or support extracurricular activities as needed. Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; utilize instructional strategies and technology in instruction; adhere to TEA guidance and district policies; participate in staff development and maintain classroom safety and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
