Job Summary
Conduct electrophysiology procedures as a scrub tech, circulator, and monitor under cardiologist direction. Analyze procedural data, provide patient care across all acuity levels, and assist in precepting new staff. Maintain inventory, charge procedures, and participate in quality assurance programs. Demonstrate competency in moderate sedation administration and function as a qualified team member. Perform equitable call coverage as applicable to the site. Requires Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist certification, BLS, and ACLS. Full-time days shift with 40-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Cardiovascular Technology program (preferred)
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred at hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care; ACLS or PALS required based on specialty assignment)
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with experience in Electrophysiology (required)
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred at hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care; ACLS or PALS required based on specialty assignment)
- Experience in Electrophysiology
