Job Summary
Part-time Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist for device-only practice at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. Join a busy device-focused EP program with a dedicated EP Lab to support device implantation, and opportunities for fellow, resident, and medical student teaching. EPIC EMR is used. Requirements include licensure as an MD or DO in NC (or eligibility), fellowship-trained in electrophysiology, BE/BC in electrophysiology, and strong communication skills with credentialing eligibility at UNC Health Southeastern. Schedule is on-site with standard hours per week of 20; option for day-time work. This role emphasizes EP device management in a community hospital setting with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed DO/MD in NC or eligible
- Fellowship trained in Electrophysiology
- BE/BC in Electrophysiology
- Effective communication skills
- Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Southeastern
