Job Summary
Provide comprehensive electrophysiology care, including diagnosis and management of abnormal heart rhythms. Perform procedures such as Watchman device implantation, ablations including left-sided access, device implants, lead extractions, 3D mapping, and difficult arrhythmias. Manage complex cases with the support of an experienced, multidisciplinary staff and collaborate with other specialists across the Bon Secours network to deliver patient-centered cardiovascular care. Full-time Monday-Friday schedule with 1:6 weekend call rotation. Start date 2027. Board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology required. Fellowship training in Electrophysiology mandatory. Unrestricted Virginia medical licensure or eligibility required.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship-trained in Electrophysiology
- Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology by ABMS/ABIM
- U.S. Based Residency and Fellowship training programs
- Proficient in Watchman procedures, ablations, and device implants
- Unrestricted medical licensure OR Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Virginia
- Authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
