Job Summary
Electrophysiologist (Assistant or Associate Professor) to join the Division of Cardiology as a full-time faculty member. Key duties include outpatient EP clinic (including outreach), inpatient electrophysiology consultations, ablation procedures and device implantations, and collaboration with colleagues across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging. The role supports education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers. Qualifications include MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship, and eligibility for an academic appointment in New York. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology
- Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor
- Leadership qualities and assets are highly valued
- Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care
- Experience with complex ablations, lead extraction and advanced device therapy is highly desirable
- Eligible for medical licensure in New York state
