Electronics Technician

Job Summary

Respond to machine breakdowns and repair requests by troubleshooting electronics-related issues on plant assets. Develop repair strategies by collaborating with maintenance teams and vendors to resolve complex problems involving machinery controls. Utilize the SAP system to document work and read blueprints, manuals, and diagrams to identify problem approaches. Maintain required records, move materials, and report faulty equipment or unsafe conditions to the Group Leader. Keep work areas clean and follow safety, PPE, and environmental regulations. Obtain repair on gauging heads and amplifiers as needed and participate in cross-training for basic mechanical repairs. This role supports the Timken Aerospace Lebanon facility, requiring a high school diploma or GED with electronics engineering knowledge or equivalent experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of machinery and controls such as Mills, Lathes, Heat Treat Furnaces, Grinders, and Assembly Equipment
  • An in-depth knowledge of electronic and electrical equipment
  • Must have a working knowledge of all electronic testing equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, meggers, etc.)
  • Must be able to confirm calibrations of such equipment
  • Basic PC Skills
  • Strong ability to read blueprints/technical manuals
  • Ability to follow written procedures
  • Ability to perform trouble-shooting activities

  • Equivalent experience in a similar job field
