Job Summary
Electronics Technician to support advanced U.S. Navy prototype development, integration, testing, and evaluation in Panama City, FL. Responsibilities include design, assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment of electronic and embedded systems; hardware architecture implementation, sensor integration, and power management; develop and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings; support PCB assembly and hardware validation; prototype bring-up and system integration; laboratory testing with oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic loads, and power supplies; troubleshoot at the component level and implement corrective actions; embed microcontroller integration/testing; develop technical documentation, test reports, procedures, and maintenance instructions; support field testing and customer evaluations; maintain engineering records and BOM. Preferred qualifications include Associate or Bachelor's in Electronics/EE/related field, NAVSEA/NSWC experience, PCB design tools, embedded C/C++, various communication protocols, fiber optics, prototype testing, and active TS/SCI clearance. Location: Panama City Beach, FL. Occasional travel. Security Clearance: Active Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting electronic systems, hardware integration, testing, or prototype development
- Experience with digital and analog electronics
- Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller-based platforms
- Experience using standard electronics laboratory equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
