Job Summary
Wiring new and rebuilt pumps, control boxes, and blenders while troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment including programmable controls and instrumentation. Perform cable building and technical communication vehicle computer installations with constant supervision, maintaining performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance functions and inform management of potential electrical or mechanical problems and inherent dangers. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work any shift and overtime, and frequent travel. Must be highly safety conscious and sensitive to confidential information.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as required
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
- Must be highly safety conscious
- Must be sensitive to confidential information
- Able to read, speak and write English
- Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions
- Must possess the ability to work independently and as a member of team
- Must work with upper level technician until proficient
- Frequent travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent working experience is a plus
- Entry level knowledge of basic schematic reading, wiring procedures, soldering techniques, use of test equipment, and basic electronic troubleshooting theory preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
