Job Summary
Test and troubleshoot RF products and digital circuit cards, including microelectronics, amplifiers, switches, and mixers. Analyze equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions and diagnose non-conformances using schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures. Perform RF tuning on microelectronics under a microscope, requiring outstanding manual dexterity and precision. Execute proper documentation of actions in data collection systems and quality records. Collaborate with engineers to assist in writing or modifying test procedures while maintaining safety, ESD, and cleanliness guidelines. Complete in-house workmanship training classes for continued employment.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree in an electronics field of study
- Hands-on use/experience with drawings, wire lists, source control drawings, or test procedures
- Experience in the testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience performing testing of RF components and preparing test reports
- Experience in working with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers
- Experience interfacing with engineering teams
- Experience with soldering and electronics assembly processes
- Experience testing microelectronic components and performing tuning under a microscope
- Working knowledge of defense electronics, with a preference to EW systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a performance based and metrics driven culture
