Job Summary
Diagnose, refurbish, and repair low complexity electronic modules, Xray tanks, detectors, and metal detectors using detailed work instructions and fixtures. Tune and balance detectors, calibrate equipment to factory standards, and replace electronic components that do not meet specifications. Install graphite coatings, wire standard heads, and perform return evaluations for X-Ray generators with supervision. Document actions via quality checklists, track project time, and conduct basic SAP transactions. Maintain a safe, clean work area while providing hands-on training to coworkers and assisting higher-level technicians. Perform entry-level SAP transactions and carry out tasks in tune/balance, hardware wiring, XR components, or module repair areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years minimum experience in electrical and/or mechanical repair of industrial machines
- Basic soldering skills
- Ability to read schematics and drawings
- Experience using electronic test equipment
- Quality focused
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Safety aware
- Entry level problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Good time management
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, push, pull for long periods throughout the day and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Self-starter
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
