Job Summary
Perform routine O&M tasks following detailed instructions, including replacing components, wiring circuits, and repairing simple electronic equipment. Troubleshoot and isolate electronic circuits by interpreting Technical Manuals and schematics, then restore equipment to working condition. Modify and install various types of electronic equipment and related devices while evaluating performance and reliability of prototypes or production modes. Work under close supervision with frequent accuracy checks, utilizing instruments such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes. This role requires overtime and weekend work, with cross-utilization into other positions as assigned. You must be able to deploy to both CONUS and OCONUS for short stints and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year degree in the Electronics field or equivalent
- High School diploma + two (2) years Avionics/Electronics experience
- Basic electronics background

- Must be able to deploy to both CONUS and OCONUS
- Must be able to lift 50lbs to the waist
- Current NM or TX Driver's License
- Must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment
- U.S. Citizenship
- ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance within 45 days of hire date
- ability to maintain Clearance throughout employment
- ability to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation
- Must be available for overtime and weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- Basic electronics background with an avionics background preferred
