Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve highly complex electronic system malfunctions requiring advanced technical analysis and independent judgment. Perform detailed circuit analyses, waveform calculations, and signal flow tracing to identify and correct system issues. Operate advanced electronic test equipment, including high-frequency pulse generators and complex computer-controlled units, while interpreting technical documentation and schematics. Implement engineering changes, modifications, and system improvements to ensure repairs comply with established quality standards and safety procedures. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior technicians. This role supports government programs sustaining robotic systems for DoW services, National Guard, and Coast Guard customers. Travel is necessary to support equipment installation and maintenance across multiple US locations.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- a certain level of manual dexterity and ability to handle and assemble small parts
- Some lifting
Desired Qualifications
- May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
